My name is Steve and I am the owner and  operator of Basset  Gold and Silver. My goal in creating  Bassett Gold and Silver was to make it easy for the people of Southern New Hampshire to Buy and Sell precious metals. I  grew up in Rockingham County and my family has been here for generations. This is my home and the residents are my neighbors and friends.

From years of experience as a buyer and seller I have learned  how the business works from the bottom up to the larger vendors. My goal is to provide a manner in which people can buy or sell precious metals as simply as a phone call to me for an appointment. I will be glad to meet you at a local location or come directly to you house.

Whether you wish to sell or buy you will find that there are many businesses selling and buying gold and silver. Since I don't have the overhead of having a store and paying all of the associated expenses I can give the best prices in the New England. I will be glad to meet a customer anywhere in Southern New Hampshire to discuss the gold and silver business. There is no need to drive to a store and listen to sales people. A call to me is all that is necessary. 

Not all dealers are the same. The precious metals business is very competitive. Most vendors are honest and will not waste your time trying to sell items at higher than market prices. I have learned the hard way what dealers sometimes are not always honest in appraisals or quotes. 

Many have "Special Deals" and will keep calling you back with better offers even when you do not want them to. They will offer often times end up selling your information to other dealers and  you will be receiving Spam calls at the worst times. I have learned that from experience!

The ways things work is very simple. If you know what you wish to purchase I will be glad to discuss transacting on the phone. If you wish to sell I will meet you where you wish and give you the best price that I can.

 I specialize primarily in Gold and Silver of all forms. I sell  bullion, coins, or collectible items. Many times I have seen  people selling the old or broken items that they no longer need or use for less than they could get. I will be glad to work with a customer to arrive at the best and fairest price for the both of us.
